I have been making pots for over 30 years using the wonderful facilities of adult education classes. Recently I have set up my own studio in the garden overlooking the Basingstoke canal.
My interests also include calligraphy, botanical illustration and photography. Ceramics are a great way to combine these interests.
I mainly produce wheel thrown domestic ware with added texture and colour. I am very influenced by Chinese blue and white porcelain and Turkish Iznik and Arabic pottery.
Recent work has included wall pieces in mixed media.
