| Since 1976 I have had a great interest in working with clay. After some years of work on the wheel, I started handbuilding pieces more and more. This became an entry into the art of sculpture. I took this up seriously and gradually worked with a variety of materials. My profound interest in modern art inspires me to seek alternative ways of expressing myself. To enhance the visual impact I experimented with the idea of negative space more and more. I like the pieces of work to convey a feeling of peace. |
